Loretta is an unincorporated community in the town of Draper, Sawyer County. Loretta is a 45 minute drive from Sawyer County’s biggest city, Hayward.
Within the community you’ll find The Loretta Steakhouse. This restaurant is a great way to get the fine dining taste in a more casual, laid back setting. There are many options on the dinner menu, including ribeyes, filets, jumbo shrimp, pork chops, meatloaf, and more.
To the west of town you’ll find Loretta Lake, a 130 acre lake with a maximum depth of 12 feet. Within this lake you’ll find Muskellunge, Panfish, and Largemouth Bass. There are two public access boat landings for easy access to the lake.
North of Loretta is the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest. Here you’ll find tons of opportunities to hike, camp, and get some pure relaxation in. More information about the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest can be found on the USDA’s website.
